Our program celebrated our 50th season of Lawrence women's basketball this year with a host of memorable moments, record breaking performances, and an awesome 50 Seasons tribute dedicated to all our wonderful alumnae who laid the foundation for who we are today!
We've grown our program to a consistent roster of 20 very dedicated players.This year's team finished the season in the championship game of the Midwest Conference Tournament. Although we came up short in that game, our program took another step towards our goal of one day cutting down the nets! The team finished with a program record of 21 wins and finished first in conference in multiple defensive categories.
Even more, we truly enjoyed taking a look back through the history of our program and retelling some amazing memories from our fabulous alumnae throughout the years. Almost everyone talked about the special moments and lasting memories that were created during their winter training trips. From walking the beaches in Florida, to playing competition from all over the country, to watching Coach Proctor win the Showcase Showdown on The Price Is Right, it's clear this has been an important, memorable, and life-changing experience.
